1. Conversation with the internet/ phone provider:

I started:

- I would like to set up 42 phones as extension numbers in my office.

- We dont do that

- Sorry? You are a phone company

- Yeah, but we dont set it up, we only set new phone lines

- Ok…

- But we can introduce you to our supplier for it

- Can you set up the whole package, I dont care where you get support from, I just need to get it all done.

- No, we dont do it. And we sure none else can do it.

- I just got the whole package offer from another company and they said they could do it, I would like to ask you because I thought you can give me better deal.

- No, none can do it

- Yes, they can.

- Well, you can try but we surely can not help.

2. Conversation with Real estate agency:

- I think the English version and the Viet version of the rental contract are not matching, cause there are some conditions that are not in the English one but in the Vietnamese one.

- OK, I fixed it

- Sorry, you did not fix it, you just deleted it

- Yeah, because I dont think that is important

- Oh, I think that is important, can you put it in the contract?

- Oh I dont think that is important

- But that is important to us

- Ok I will put it, but just let you know that I deleted it because I did not think that is important.

3. Conversation with another internet provider:

- Please send me the quotation in English

…

- You have sent me the old one again, there is no changes, I dont see where you put the fax machine set up, and can you please send me the quotation in English.

…

- Again, this time you sent me the quotation with fax machine set up fee, but it is not English version, I need an English quotation.

….

- Again, I need an English quotation, and where I can see which required information I have to prepare?

…

- Ms Phuong, this is the 5th time today you sent me the file that is not perfectly right, I need an English one, you have add all information I need but I NEED AN ENGLISH VERSION.

4. Conversation with computer stores:

- Wow, that would be great if you can send me back today at 2:00 pm.

- Yes, I need a quotation with all information, detail of the computer, the brand, and importantly is pictures. Thank you very much, you have been very helpful.

At 7:00pm, I received an email

Dialing one number…

- I NEED A FILE WITH PICTURE, your file doe snot have any pictures.

- Oh, sorry I might attached the wrong file. Can I send it tomorrow morning?

Can anyone give me a shoulder? Or a jet so I can just fly out of this…
